Ocean Eyes Co., Ltd.’s project “Surface fishery digitalization in Indonesia” was selected for “Asia Digital Transformation (ADX) Promotion Projects” by Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) in 3rd August, 2021.
In surface fisheries in Indonesia, rational use of data is yet to widespread and Internet environment is not developed yet. So with this project, we aim to improve low productivity of Indonesia‘s fisheries and also achieve SDG’s goals by providing sea condition data such as temperature, current, and chlorophyll and lecturing how to use them. OceanEyes and partners have collaborated on field tests since last year to commercialize the service there.
