As a part of the activities of the project “Surface fishery digitalization in Indonesia”, JETRO subsidized project, OceanEyes’ engineers and marketing member visited Indonesia from July 25th to August 7th with partner company member.
They visited fishermen and fishery-related companies in Jakarta (Java), Lombok (Pulau Lombok), Bitung (Sulawesi) and Sibolga (Pulau Sumatera). They toured fishing ports, fishing vessels and seafood processing factories. And they interviewed executives of related companies and captains of fishing vessels about fishing operation, e.g. how they determain fishing ground, flow from catch to landing fishes and seafood distribution. We also received feedback on our services, so we will improve our services using their feedback toward realize fishery digitalization in Indonesia.
