Last week, from August 21, 2019 to 23rd, FishNext Technology Exhibition was held at Tokyo Big Sight with about 30,000 visitors, and many people visited the booth where Ocean Eyes Co., Ltd. and Iiyama Laboratory of Kyoto University jointly exhibited.
At the booth, “Fisher Navi” and “SEAoME” were exhibited for the first time in Japan, and staff members demonstrated the actual machines and explained the products to fishermen, local/central governments and companies. Participants asked specific questions, such as the accuracy of tidal current and seawater temperature prediction, and in which sea area it could be used. In addition, there was interest in fishing ground prediction using AI technology, which is scheduled to be provided as an option in the “Fisher Navi”.
After this exhibition, we will start beta testing in earnest for “Fishing ground navigation” service. After beta testing, we intend to launch it as a formal service and deliver it to users. Please look forward to it.
