The Iiyama Laboratory of Kyoto University, one of the parent organizations of Ocean Eyes’ research, has a booth at Oceans 2019, an international conference and exhibition related to maritime affairs held in Marseilles, France in June 17 – 20, 2019.
Marseilles is the largest port city in France, and due to the nature of its location, there are many visitors not only researchers but also the French government, making the exhibition a little different from AI. Visitors to the booth include not only local French companies, but also fishing relate companies from Norway and Australia, as well as oceanographers from Asian countries such as Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan.
