On July 26, 2019, Associate Professor Masaaki Iiyama, co founder of Ocean Eyes, delivered an invited lecture entitled “Processing of fishery and marine data using pattern recognition technology” at the 47th Symposium on Visualization Information held at Kyoto University. After the lecture, Dr. Daisuke Matsuoka, a researcher at the Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC), participated in a panel discussion and presented the research results at CREST and Ocean Eyes.
