Yusuke Tanaka

After graduating from university, he worked at a manufacturing company before serving as a weather consultant.
From 2013 to 2020, he worked at JAMSTEC, contributing to the development of ocean data assimilation systems.
At Ocean Eyes, he focuses on the social implementation of research outcomes, and also handles business coordination, company policy development, and on-site support.

At the time of Ocean Eyes’ founding, he was an Associate Professor at Kyoto University, where he conducted research in ocean science and AI.
He later became a Professor at the Faculty and Graduate School of Data Science, Shiga University.
Specializing in image recognition and remote sensing, he leads the AI team at Ocean Eyes as Chief Technology Officer.

He was engaged in research and development at the Meteorological Research Institute and at JAMSTEC, within the Center for Earth Information Science and Technology, Research Institute for Value-Added-Information Generation.
He later became a Director of Ocean Eyes.
Specializing in physical oceanography, including ocean modeling and data assimilation, he provides advice on development and is involved in sales and overseas negotiations at Ocean Eyes.

He worked as an engineer at Sony Corporation until 2014.
After experiences including serving as Global CTO at JAI A/S in Denmark and working at startups, he currently also serves as President & CEO of Village Array Corporation.
With a long-standing interest in GX-related businesses, he is engaged in business development at Ocean Eyes.

She is originally from the Republic of the Sudan.
She specialized in computer science and completed the doctoral coursework in Intelligent Informatics at the Iiyama Laboratory, Kyoto University.
At Ocean Eyes, she is a member of the AI development and PFG (Fishing ground prediction / Potential Fishing Ground) team, engaged in research and development.

Through partner strategy and related initiatives, he is involved in expanding Ocean Eyes’ overseas operations.

After serving as a Project Researcher at JAMSTEC and the Atmosphere and Ocean Research Institute, The University of Tokyo, he joined Ocean Eyes.
At Ocean Eyes, he is involved in the development of ocean models.

She conducted research on the ecology of marine organisms while at university.
After participating in a marine environmental survey project following the Great East Japan Earthquake, she joined Ocean Eyes.
At Ocean Eyes, she supports the development of data provision systems and responds to customer inquiries.

After working at Iiyama Laboratory at Kyoto University, she joined Ocean Eyes. At Ocean Eyes, she serves as Chief Secretary, overseeing general affairs and human resources, as well as handling a wide range of back-office operations.

At Ocean Eyes, he is responsible for server operations and management. He supports the company’s infrastructure to ensure stable operation of both internal and external systems, ranging from commercial servers to the preparation of development environments.

He specialized in information science and engineering during his graduate studies. After joining Ocean Eyes, he became a member of the AI team led by Iiyama. He is engaged in the development and research of PFG (Fishing ground prediction / Potential Fishing Ground).
